Mr. Zenon (Zeno) S. Tadych, 69, of 1912 Western Ave., Manitowoc, died Sunday afternoon, Nov. 16, at Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Tadych was born Dec. 20, 1910, at Manitowoc, son of the late John and Agnes Grochowski Tadych. He married Anita Broecker, Oct. 24, 1933, she preceded him in death April 24, 1937. Mr. Tadych then married Lillian Gretz, Aug. 30, 1941, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc, she preceded him in death May 31, 1976. He was employed for 25 years with the former Whitehouse Milk Company, Manitowoc. Mr. Tadych then operated Porky's Bar and Lanes at Whitelaw, later the Linger Bar, and Zeno and Lil's bar in Manitowoc until retiring.
Survivors include three daughters, Sister Renita Tadych of Zanesville, Ohio, Mrs. Edwin (Dorothy) Patzer of Alpena, Mich., Mrs. Max (Caroline) Weekly of Billings, Mont.; a son-in-law, William Simmer of Manitowoc, 10 grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, LaVerne Simmer, four brothers and six sisters.
