Mrs. Alex Tadych, 60, of 1122 S. 26th St., Manitowoc, died late Thursday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Leschke-Bergner Funeral Home, Manitowoc and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John S. Landowski will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.

She was born Nov. 14, 1902, at Cooperstown, daughter of the late Anton and Anna Budnik Sobieski. She was married to Alex Tadych June 24, 1918, at Manitowoc.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Victor of Manitowoc; a brother, Albert Sobieski of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Peter Wrobel of Manitowoc; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

Tadych Rites Held Monday

Mrs. Alex Tadych, 60, 1123 S. 26th St., Manitowoc, died late Thursday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held Monday at St. Mary Church and burial was in the church cemetery.

She was born on November 14, 1902 at Cooperstown, the daughter of the late Anton and Anna Budnik Sobieski. She married Alex Tadych on June 24, 1918 at Manitowoc.

Survivors are her husband, one son, Victor, Manitowoc; a brother, Albert, Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Peter Wrobel, Manitowoc and two grandchildren.
