Donald L. "Donny" Fellers, age 57, passed away after a brief diagnosis of lung cancer on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Mercy St. Anne's Hospital where he was surrounded by his family. He was born on May 28, 1958 to Edgar and Irma (Doran) Fellers in Toledo. Donny worked at Mobis North American on the assembly line and he truly enjoyed working there and the camaraderie that he shared with co-workers. When he wasn't working he enjoyed spending time with his family and playing computer games.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 24 years, Lori (Smith) Fellers; children, Brad and Kandice Fellers; parents, Edgar and Irma Fellers; siblings, Judy (Frank) Malaska, Joanne (Jim) Moorehead, John Foxhuber, Patty Fellers and Rick (Sheryl) Fellers; father and mother in law, Henry (Julia) Smith; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, David Fellers.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 3-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin in the funeral home on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Donny's family to assist with funeral expenses.
