Gordon C. Altemose, 61, of Blue Mountain Drive, Danielsville, died Saturday in St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Dorothea (Werner) Altemose and the late Gicella (Szep) Altemose. He and his second wife were married 20 years.
He operated Gordon's Appliance, a home appliance sales and service business in Bethlehem for 30 years, retiring in 1986.
Born in Nazareth, he was a son of the late Clifford and Grace (Rice) Altemose.
He was a member of Bethany Wesleyan Church, Cherryville.
Survivors: Wife; son, Scott, at home; stepdaughter, Nancy Travisano of Bethlehem; brother, Gilbert of Bethlehem; sisters, Gloria Carr of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Carol Scheffler of Easton, and a step-grandson.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Schmidt Mortuary, Nazareth. Call 7- 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
