Lucille Tomchek, 84, of 1016 S. 24th Street, Manitowoc, died early Friday morning, December 23, 1988, at North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Rev. Harold Berryman with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Tomcheck was born December 11, 1904, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Michael and Rose Prybil Janesky. She married Alex Tomchek on April 27, 1941, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death May 13, 1971. Mrs. Tomchek was employed at Colonial Inn for many years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Manitowoc Senior Center.
Survivors include two brother and sisters-in-law, Ed and Caroline Janesky of Manitowoc, and Stanley and Dorothy Janesky of Manitowoc; a sister, Helen Janesky of Minnesota, a sister-in-law, Muriel Janesky of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank, and two sisters, Celia and Sophie.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 9:30 a.m. Monday morning and until the hour of service. There will be no Sunday evening visitation.
