John Tychanski, Sr., 78, a resident of St. Mary Home, Manitowoc, died Friday morning at the home.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Leschke-Bergner Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc, with the Rgt. Rev. Msgr. John Landowski officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Tychanski was born July 7, 1881, in Poland. He married the former Mary Witczak in 1964 at Calumet City, Mich. She preceded him in death in 1935. Mr. Tychanski was employed for several years at St. Mary Home.
Survivors include two sons, John Jr. and Adam of Manitowoc, two daughters, Mrs. John Kennedy of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Eugene Collins of Rockwill, Mass., and two grandchildren. A son, Stanley, preceded him in death in 1954.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
