NICHOLAS WALLANDER
(1957 - 1964)

Nicholas Wallander, 6, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wallander, of 1915 Madison St., Manitowoc, died Monday enroute to University Hospital at Madison of leukemia.

Funeral services are tentatively set for Thursday morning at St. Mary Catholic Church Manitowoc, with burial in St. Mary Cemetery.

The child was born July 9, 1957, at Manitowoc to Lloyd and Pauline Tadych Wallander and was a first grade pupil at Cleveland School.

Survivors are the parents, a brother, Gregory, and two sisters, Paula Jane and Mary Ellen, at home, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Tadych, of Manitowoc, and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wallender, of Reedsville.

Leschke-Bergner funeral home is in charge.

Funeral services for Nicholas Wallander, 6, of 1915 Madison St., Manitowoc, who died of Leukemia enroute to University Hospital, Madison, Monday, will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Leschke-Bernger Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John S. Landowski will officiate at the Mass of Angels and burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday.

Deeply grateful and appreciative of the kindnesses shown us by friends, relatives and neighbors in our sad bereavement, the death of our dearly beloved son, brother, grandson and nephew, Nicholas Wallander, we hereby tender our heartfelt thanks to one and all. Special thanks to Rt. Rev. Msgr. John Landowski, the Rev. John Conrad, Holy Family Hospital personnel and University Hospital, Madison, Wis. Organist and choir, altar boys, pallbearers, donors of spiritual bouquets, memorial wreaths, flowers, donors and drivers of cars, donors of food, the ladies who served the lunch and any others who assisted us in any way. All contributed to a lightening of our burden of sorrow.
