Braske-Walters (sic) Nuptials Are Read This Morning
After at two-weeks' honeymoon trip to Detroit, Mich., and Windsor, Canada, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Walters will be at home at 926 South 21st street in this city. The couple left this afternoon for their honeymoon.
Mr. Walters and the former Miss Eva Bruske, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Bruske, 1122 South 20th street, were married by the Rev. J.M. Poclecha at the St. Mary's Catholic church at 7 o'clock this morning. Mr. Walters, whose home is in Manitowoc, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Walters of Switzerland.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Smugler attended the couple at the ceremony. The bride wore a frock of henna crepe with a matching hat and she carried an arm bouquet of yellow roses. Mrs. Smugler wore a purple knitted suit with a matching hat and corsage of roses.
Breakfast and luncheon were served to 25 guests at the home of the bride's parents and then Mr. and Mrs. Walters left for their honeymoon.
Mr. Walters is employed in the United States engineering department on the General Meade operating on the lower lakes.
