Julius Weina, 96, who had resided 21 years with a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Felix Weina, 1121 S. 18th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday afternoon at the home.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 am Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 9 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John S. Landowski will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Weina was born Jan. 9, 1870 in Germany, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anton Weina. He came to Manitowoc in 1890 where he married Teckla Jagodinski in 1891 at St. Mary Church. She died Feb. 20, 1956. Before retiring he had been employed many years by the Soo Line Railroad. He had been a member of the Manitowoc County Board.

Surviving are five sons, Bernard, Theodore, Felix, Conrad and Anton of Manitowoc; two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Tillie) Wisniewski, of Two Rivers and Mrs. Teckla Fricke of Oakland, Calif.; a brother, Robert of Manitowoc and grandchildren and great grandchildren. A daughter preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 pm Tuesday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm.
