STELLA WELNETZ
(1889 - 1958)
Mrs. Stella Welnetz, 69, 912 S. 19th St., Manitowoc, died early Sunday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been confined the past two weeks.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at the St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc, with the Rev. Edward Nowskowski officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The former Stella Stasiak was born May 5, 1889, at Warsaw, Poland, daughter of the late Joseph and Edna Jagodinski Stasiak. She moved to this county as a child with her parents and settled at Marshfield, Wis., where she was married to the late Anton Welnetz April 29, 1906. He died Oct. 21, 1951. The couple moved to Manitowoc in 1932. She was a member of the St. Ann Society of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Robert Maynard of Milwaukee and Mrs. John Engeldinger and Mrs. Wilbur Kumbalek of Manitowoc; two sons, Anthony J. and Joseph A. of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Robert Burczyk of Milwaukee; and 19 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 6:30 o'clock this Monday evening by the Daughters of Isabella.
