HELEN WERGIN
(1914 - 1957)

Mrs. Anton Murphy Wergin, 42, of 1129 S. 23rd St., Manitowoc, died Friday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient five days. She had been ill for an extended period.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rev. John Landowski will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

The former Helen Glomski was born in the Town of Newton Aug. 16, 1914, daughter of Frank Glomski and the late Susan Pitch Glomski. She came to Manitowoc as a young girl and was married at Northeim Oct. 9, 1935. Mrs. Wergin was secretary of the Women's Bowling Assn.

Surviving are the husband, two daughters, Mrs. Irene Kraemer and Miss Mary Lou Wergin of Manitowoc; father, Frank Glomski of Manitowoc; brother, John of Newton; three sisters, Mrs. John Wergin of Casco and Mrs. Edward Mullins and Miss Marcella Glomski of Manitowoc, and a grandchild.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
