Mayme Wilmet, 98, 1760 Shawano Ave., died Friday, Feb. 2, 1990 at a local nursing home.

She was born July 27, 1891 in Bay Settlement to the late Samuel and Mary (Leanais) Coutley. On June 14, 1910 she married Emil Wilmet in Green Bay. She lived most of her life in Green Bay except for a short period of time in Kewaunee and Manitowoc. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Manitowoc, and St. Joseph Catholic Church, Green Bay.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Loretta and Eugene Tess, Beaver Dam; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Florence and John Lomanskey, Baraboo; Priscilla and George Carroll, Seattle, Wash.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Bernard in 1943, and Claude in 1978; five brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at St. Joseph Catholic Church, corner of 12th and 9th Sts, after 10 a.m. Monday. Funeral 11 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Stanley T. Brown officiating. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Manitowoc.
