Ablett, Frank S. BOGOTA, N.J. Frank S. Ablett, 73, of Bogota, died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Select Specialty Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Cohoes and was the son of the late William Stanton and Jane Holleran Ablett. Frank graduated from Cohoes High School and Holy Cross College. He was a school teacher for the West Sand Lake School District for several years. He moved to N.J. in 1966 and was employed as a copy writer for Prentiss Hall in Englewood Cliffs, N.J. for over 15 years, and later he did freelance work for several advertising agency's on Madison Ave. in New York City. Frank is survived by his cousins, John Holleran of Chatham, N.J., Richard Holleran of Saratoga, Calif., Thomas Holleran of Niantic, Conn. and Joan Wood of Long Meadow, Mass. He is also survived by several other cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday morning at 10:00 at the Stanton-Farrell Funeral Home, 326 Columbia St., Cohoes, N.Y. A calling hour will be from 9 to 10:00 prior to the service. His interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Cohoes.
