Funeral services 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 1977 at the Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, WV, with Church of Christ Ministers Darrell Moore and Clifton Inman officiating. Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery near Myra, WV.
He was a son of the late Harry and Mary E. (Moore) Burns. Survivors include his widow, Olive (Sowards) Burns; one son, Ernest Buster Jr.; three daughters, Wanda Lawson, Linda Curry, Patty McCoy; two brothers, Harold and Harry Jr; two sisters, Mary Ester Morris and Virginia Bass; two foster-sons, Russell Blackwell and Clyde Ray; and nine grandchildren. Koontz Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
