In his 26 years with the company, he served as Director, Management Information Systems at Blount, Inc. and as Vice President, Management Information Systems of Blount International, Ltd., at the time of his retirement in 1989.
In 1990 Ross was offered a position with the Governor's Office/Finance Department of the State of Alabama where he stayed until his State retirement in 1998.
