Velda "Val" Arlene Larsen September 2, 1930 - August 19, 2015 RANCHO BERNARDO -- Velda "Val" Arlene Larsen was born on September 2, 1930 in Stockton, Illinois, to the late Walter A. and Viola E. Eiseman. She was married for 50 years to the late Stewart A. Larsen. She later met the late Hugh "Tom" Thomason. She is survived by her brother, Bud Eiseman of Freeport, Illinois, her three sons, Kenneth A. Larsen of Escondido, Dennis A. Larsen of Escondido, and Randy E. and Susan Larsen of Rancho Bernardo, five grandchildren: Amy, Angelique, Tessa and Steve, Cameron and Bryan and Alice, and five great-grandchildren: Abygail, Jonathan, Joshua, Ellie and Drew. She served for over 50 years in the Ladies Auxiliary - FRA. She was a faithful servant of Jesus serving at Bethel Baptist, Escondido and First Southern Baptist, Hemet. She will be greatly missed by all. Services will be held on Thursday, September 3rd, from 10:00 - 1:00 pm at the Arlington Mortuary, 9645 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA 92503 and from 2:00 - 2:30 pm at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside CA 92518. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Ladies Auxiliary-FRA.
