Jos. Tomczyk Passes After Long Illness

Joseph E. Tomczyk, died at the family home at 1214 South Twentieth street yesterday afternoon, the demise being due to illness from which he had suffered for some time. The funeral arrangements had not been made at 2 o'clock this afternoon and will be announced tomorrow.

Deceased was born in Poland January 6, 1865 and came to this city as a child and was married here to Miss Anna Katzka twenty-eight years ago.

He is survived by his widow and seven children, Miss Sophie Tomczyk, Stanley, Martin and Alex, all at home, Stephen of Chicago, Charles of Orchid Lake, Mich., and Joseph of Sturdevant, Mo., two brothers Frank and Ignatz Tomczyk, both of Newton and three sisters Mrs. J. Kortas of this city, Mrs. Jr. Sitkievic and Mrs. S. Mrotek, both of Newton.
