Phoebe Baker, only child of the late Elder G. W. Flowers, died on Saturday in Chicago where she had made her home for a number of years, of organic kidney trouble. The remains were brought to Sycamore, and there was a large attendance at the funeral services which were held at the White Horse Army church on North avenue at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Rev. W. M. Jones, pastor of that church, officiated, and the choir rendered excellent singing.
The remains were interred in Elmwood cemetery.
The deceased leaves her husband surviving. She was 42 years of age.
