VIOLET L. LECLAIR

Violet L. LeClair, age 85, a resident of the Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, died Sunday morning, Nov. 14, 2010, at Aurora Medical Center, Manitowoc County.
Violet was born Feb. 15, 1925, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Ralph and Lorraine (Woellert) Gilbert. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1943. On Oct. 23, 1948, she married Reuben J. LeClair at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 2009. Violet was employed with Formrite Tube Company of Two Rivers for many years until her retirement. She was a past member of St. Luke Catholic Church Christian Women in Two Rivers and also enjoyed her many years as a Brownie and Girl Scout leader.

She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter: Sharon; one brother and sister-in-law: Ralph "Buddy" and Catherine Gilbert; and one sister and brother-in-law: Beatrice and Edward Powalisz; three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Elmer and Ethel Leclair, Hilary LeClair and Daniel and Irene LeClair; two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law: Irene and Stanley Lachowicz; and Lorraine and Elmer Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Tom Reynebeau with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, Hwy. 310, town of Kossuth.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, from9:30 to 10:45 a.m, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers.
The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
The family would like to thank the staff of Reflections at the Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center for the care given to Mom. Also, a special thank you to the staff on 3 West at Aurora Medical Center and also Aurora Hospice for the kind and compassionate care given to Mom and her family.
Mom was a little lady with a big heart-the rock of the family. Her happiest times were when she was surrounded by her family and friends. We love you and miss you.
