She was entering the third grade at Thomas Read Elementary School and attended Rothbury Community Church. Johanna is survived by her parents, Matt and Cathy Gale; her brothers and sisters, Chris, Brad, Heather and Sarah Gale; her grandparents, Robert and Karen Oberlin and Douglas and Thelma Gale and aunts, uncles and cousins.
