SALOME ZANDALA
(1893 - 1966)
Mrs. Anthony Zandala, 72, of 2501 Custer St., Manitowoc, died Sunday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient for 17 days.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 am Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John S. Landowski will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
The former Saloma C. Narkowski was born Oct. 11, 1893 at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Frank and Mary Kaczmarek Narkowski. She was married to Anthony S. Zandala April 28, 1914 at St. Mary Catholic Church.
He survives along with seven daughters, Miss Wanda Zandala and Mrs. J.W. Steckbauer, Miss Serena Zandala and Mrs. Charles Leist of Manitowoc, Sister Kazmierski of Detroit and Miss Genevieve Zandala of Mexico; a son, Joseph of Manitowoc; a brother, Anton Narkowski of Avalon, Alberta, Canada; nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 pm Tuesday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm.
