Anthony S. Zandala, 91, of 2501 Custer St., Manitowoc, died Friday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Thaddeus J. Koszarel will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Zandala was born May 30, 1979, in Poland, son of the late Joseph and Magdalene Stasiek Zandala. He came to the United States with his family, settling at Manitowoc. He had been a partner with his brother Steve in the Zandala Construction Co. retiring 25 years ago. He married Salome Norkowski April 26, 1914, at Manitowoc. His wife preceded him in death April 17, 1966. Mr. Zandala was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Mary Church.

Survivors include a son, Joseph of Manitowoc; seven daughters, Miss Wanda of Manitowoc, Mrs. Stanley (Clara) Kazmierski of Detroit, Mrs. J.W. (Frances) Steckbauer, Miss Serena and Miss Genevieve of Manitowoc, Sister M. Lola of West Point, Neb., and Mrs. Charles (Lucille) Leist of Manitowoc; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Four brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday where a wake service will be at 8 p.m.
