(1854 - 1907)

50-year old Michael Zelewski, an employee in Richard's Machine Shop drank cold water Saturday because he was overheated and became ill following this shock to his system. On Tuesday he felt well enough that he was able to get up, but during the following night the illness from his overheating returned and he died Wednesday morning.

He is survived by his widow and several children.

DIED:
Michael Zelewski, a resident of this city, aged fifty years died yesterday morning at his home on 20th street.

Mr. Zelewski was employed at Richards Iron Works and was a t work there up to last Saturday. On that day he drank a glass of cold water and shortly afterward he became ill. On Tuesday he was able to be about his home and expected soon to resume his work but his condition became serious that evening and he grew steadily worse until death came.

He is survived by a wife and family.
