Helen A. Zagrodnik, age 83, a Manitowoc resident, died early Wednesday morning, August 18, 1993, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, August 20, 1993, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Roman Zbieranski O.F.M. with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born May 7, 1910, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Kowalski Gospadarek. She married Dominic Zagrodnik on May 20, 1929, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on December 19, 1980. Mrs. Zagrodnik was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Rosary and Altar Society. She was also a member of St. Mary's Choir for over 50 years and the Eagles Auxiliary of Manitowoc.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James and Barbara Zagrodnik, Sullivan, Wis.; a daughter and son-in-law, Geraldine and Robert Eaton, Manitowoc a brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Charlotte Gospodarek, Sturgeon Bay; a sister and brother-in-law, Julia and Mark Mosey, Manitowoc; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Joe (Lila) Gospodarek, Mr.s Joe (Theresa) Thomchek, Alice Duruz, and her husband, Paul, all of Manitowoc; a brother-in-law, Stanley Zagrodnik and his wife, Mildred, Manitowoc. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Thursday where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. by Father Roman. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
