George Thomas Aycock was the first born of 12 children.

Ms..George's mother is Caroline Dillard Young Aycock. Born: 6 Feb 1826 Athens, Clark Co. Ga.. Died: 27 Sept. 1904 Montpelier, Clay Co. Ms.Caroline is buried in Rocky Hill Cemetery Clay Co. Ms. James Jackson Aycock's family moved from Ga. to Ms. some time in the 1840s.
