Estelle Darity Hammonds, 55, De Queen, a former McCurtain County resident, died Monday at De Queen's Community Hospital.
Mrs. Hammonds was born in the Pollard Community of McCurtain County. She was affiliated with the Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Robert Lee Petty, Gillham, Ark., Alvin McKenzie and Roy Lee McKenzie, all of Grannis; four daughters, Mickie Robinson, Tuscon, Jackie Noey, Radonna Turnbough and Ola Petty, all of De Queen; two brothers, Walter Darity and Mutt Darity, both of Eagletown; one sister, Tina Mae Dickerson, Eagletown; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Shady Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Wesley Blankenship officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Wilkerson Funeral Home of De Queen.
