Death today claimed Michael Ziarnik, old resident of the city, at the age of 81 years. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 at St. Mary's church, the Rev. Father Kubiezewski officiating, and burial will take place in the St. Mary's cemetery.
Born in Poland, Mr. Ziarnik came to this country 55 years ago and has made Manitowoc his home since that time. Death was caused by old age, which also claimed Mrs. Ziarnik a year ago.
He is survived by son, four daughters, and 29 grandchildren. Two brothers, Simon of Milwaukee and Frank of this city, also survive.
Mr. Ziarnik was an active member of the St. Boniface and St. Joseph societies.

He was born in Poland and came to this country 55 years ago and has made Manitowoc his home ever since. His wife died a year ago.
He is survived by a son, Wenzel and four daughters, Mrs. John Becker, Mrs. Frank Kaminsky, Mrs. Michael Pokorcky, Mrs. Stanley Denis and 29 grandchildren.
The funeral was held Wednesday morning from St. Mary's Church. Interment was in St. Mary's cemetery.
