6-YEAR-OLD GIRL VICTIM SLEEPING SICKNESS TODAY
Another death due to sleeping sickness which is sweeping the state with terrible results, is recorded here today in the passing away of Germaine, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ziarnik, 909 Nineteenth street. For eighteen days the child had been afflicted and it was impossible to arouse her and her condition gradually became weakened and death resulted early today. The death is the second within a week from sleeping sickness.
Besides the parents one brother and a sister survive the Ziarnik child.
