Beverly was born on July 23rd, 1952 in Montpelier, Ohio to the late Charles Wayne Thompson and her mother Joyce Elaine Thompson. Bev, as she was often called, spent a lot of her childhood in Hicksville, Ohio and was a 1970 graduate of Hicksville High School.
She had two children. Bev worked at the General Motors plant in Defiance, Ohio before being hired by the Saturn Corporation and moving to Spring Hill, Tennessee with her daughter, Belinda. It was in Spring Hill where Bev met the man that God had set aside just for her, the love of her life, Todd Fried Jones. Todd and Beverly were united in marriage in Hicksville, Ohio on September 18th, 1993 and have spent the last 21 years living a life full of adventure. She was blessed to have been able to travel all over the United States to include Alaska and Hawaii. She was also able to visit Europe, Canada, and an accidental trip to Mexico as she and her husband was canoeing the Rio Grande.
She moved from Tennessee to Vevay with her husband in 2011. When she was in town, Bev attended the Spring Branch Baptist Church. She was a member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran in Spring Hill, Tennessee and also attended Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Fairfield, Ohio.
She will first be remembered for her love of family and friends. They were her life. She will also be remembered for her love of studying the Bible. Bev read and studied through the entire Bible many times. She enjoyed gardening, traveling with her husband, exercising and playing Yahtzee.

Preceded in death by father: Charles Wayne Thompson; father and mother-in law: Ralph and Dorothy Jones and her sister: Elaine Wann.
