She had lived in the Tri-Cities since 1964.
Leatice was born January 17, 1930,in Yakima, WA. And grew up in Wapato and the Yakima Valley. She met and married the love of her life, Ralph.
They were married 49 years until his death in 1997.
She was a mother whose proudest moments were raising and watching her 6 children grow and becoming a grandmother.
She was a bartender for VFW Cook-Erickson Post 7952 in Richland and the Moose Lodge in West Richland.
Leatrice was a member of the VFW and the Moose Lodge and was Senior Regent of the Women of the Moose.
She enjoyed watching the Seattle Mariners and car racing. “She never went to a Mariners game but would not miss one on TV.”
Leatarice was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; son, thomas, and parents, Frand and Mildred Wood.
She is survived by her brother, Eugene Wood, sister Ladean Stice and sons, Larry, Ronald, Gary, and Donald, daughters, Trudy Holland and Janet Sailer; 15 grand children and 20 great-grand children.
Grave side services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2006 in Sunset Memorial Gardens followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m. at the West Richland Moose Lodge.
