Jessie F. Kyle Jr., age 94, of Sheffield, died Tuesday, September 1, 2015. His family will receive friends, Friday, September 4, 2015, 12-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Jeff Newton officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Mr. Kyle was a lifelong resident of Sheffield and a member of Valdosta Baptist Church. He was a veteran of WWII, a member of Local #760 Plumbers & Pipefitters, Elks Lodge, TVA member, the Senior Citizen of Sheffield, and was past member of the Florence Country Club.
Survivors include his nephews; Jimmy Booker, Barry Boothe and Philip Boothe, nieces; Sherry Davenport, Beverly Boyd and numerous other nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Davenport, Johnny Craft, Lee Morris, Fay Watson, Jimmy Booker and Mark Booker.
