"Together Again"

OGDEN - On a beautiful September afternoon (September 1, 2015) our sweet and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, sister and friend Karen Anne Argyle Price passed away surrounded by her loving family at the Stonehenge Care Facility at the too young age of 77.

She was born November 28, 1937, in Logan, Utah, to Rell Francis and Lillie Larsen Argyle. On May 31, 1958, Dean and Karen Anne were married in Morgan, Utah.

Mom worked several jobs through the years at such places as Meadow Gold, IRS and Defense Depot Ogden. Mom was always up for an adventure. It didn't matter where or what, she was always willing to go. She enjoyed having family gatherings at her home, where she loved spending time with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She also loved bowling, camping, fishing (OK, well, she was forced to like fishing), travel, including trips to Iran, where she lived with her family, Europe, the Caribbean, New Zealand, Australia and all over the U.S.

She loved reading. I doubt anyone in the world has read more books than she. Quilting was a passionate hobby for her as her quilts have been sent out all over the world for people with needs. She made sure that every one of her family members had a special quilt made just for them. She was a proud Daughter of the Utah Pioneers. She and her special girlfriends created Club, where they met together at one of the members house for a special night of companionship, fun and food. These special women have been meeting for over 57 years; they even had a feature story written about them in the Standard-Examiner.

Karen is survived by her five children: Eric (Jane), Monica (Corry) Barlow, Bruce (Michael), Danny (Kelly), Kraig (Carlie); 22 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four siblings, Gary Argyle, Nolan (Margarette) Argyle, Sonja (Brent) Buttars, Jorgen (Tammy) Argyle. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Nila Jean.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 4, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit with family on Thursday, September 3, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service, from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m., both at the mortuary. Interment will be at the Ben Lomond Cemetery in North Ogden.
