Marcus "Mike" Reinhold Suehring was born on August 18, 1904, in Town of Grant, Wisconsin, to Franz and Marie (Grimm). He had seven siblings: Adela Grenz, Lillian Fritz, Fred, Walter, Alma Breitenfeldt, Andrew and Harvey. He married Sophia Johanna Lena Watters on May 21, 1927 in Grant. They owned and operated a cheese factory and later operated a dairy farm. They lived their lives in Town of Grant where they raised their children: James Suehring, Carol Hidde, Sally Janicek and Pat Tietz, Jerry, Gladys Wichmann and Jeanette. He died on September 30, 1999, in Tilleda, Wisconsin, at the age of 95, and was buried in Caroline, Wisconsin.
Grandson, Alan Wichmann: Weasel Dam Tap. Owned and operated by my Grandparents Mike and Sophie Suehring. They bought the Weasel Dam School and converted it to a bar somewhere in the early 1960's. We still have a set of desks from the school.
