John and Sarah were parents of seven children: Cora A, Edith A, Annie M, Mildred, Mary E, Andy and W Howard. John died from tuberculosis near McCune, Kansas and is buried in McCune cemetery. His stone also has the name of his wife, Sarah and her birth date but no death date. That's because she is buried in the Home Cemetery, Atchison County, Missouri. He was a farmer and also did saw mill work.
