He attended Public School 256 and graduated from Eastern District High School, both located in Brookln. He also earned college credits. From there, employment was no stanger to Cook. He was employed at Tiffany and Company in Manhattan for twenty-six years. He was well loved by his co-workers and very seldom missed a day of work.
In 1971, he married Virginia Figgures and from this union a beautiful daughter was born. As time moved on, he met Valerie Harris and her family, who were special people in his life.
Cook was well liked by many people who loved him dearly. He entered into eternal rest on July 23, 2006. Cook was predeceased by his sister Rebecca Webster. He leaves to mourn: his mother Martha Brown; his three brothers, Bobby, Ray, and Gary; four sisters, Yvonne, Leona, Christine, Patricia; one daughter, Flora V. Webster; three grandaughters, Sha-Naya, Cashawna, and Zakiya; one grandson Dexter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
