Wife of John W. Thompson was born October 19th 1860, and died January 18th, 1888, aged 18 years, 3 months and 1 day. She was a member of the U.B. Church at Mt. Olive Class. She was married May 1st, 1887, and goes to meet her father, 3 brothers and 5 sisters, all at rest in the Mt. Olive cemetery. Funeral was conducted by Rev. J. W. Kissey at Mt. Olive U.B. Chapel. His text is found in Hebrew, chap. 4, 9th verse, and reads "There remaineth therefore, a rest to the people of God."
