Thomas is son of Miles and Martha Jones Marshall and the only one of their children who didn't go to Iowa in 1855. I have a newspaper article that was a series from a Wayne Co. Indiana newspaper talking about the exodus. There are also pictures of Miles Marshall and a group picture with Miles in it. It was taken right after the Civil War and may have been the oldest group picture ever to have been made in Wayne Co. Iowa fever was said to be high from 1854 to about 1870. Thanks to Jane Beers for her contribution that Thomas was a farmer and served as the trustee in Economy, Indiana.
