Services Monday For James Kaser, Retired Farmer

Funeral Services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Goodwin funeral home for James Nevin Kaser, who died at his home, 601 West Kyger street, late Friday night.

A native of Clinton County, he was born May 1, 1875, son of Augustus and Ellen Kaser. He married Gertrude Thompson who died in 1912, and in 1923 he was married to Mahala E. Hicks who survives. He was a member of the Lutheran church, and until retirement, engaged in farming.

Other survivors include a son, Howard of Detroit; three daughters, Mrs. Carl Elliott of this city, Mrs. Charles Smock of Lebanon and Mrs. Richard Alhand of Danville, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Ruch of Indianapolis and Mrs. Ben Garber of Cambria; a step-daughter, Mrs. Scott Myers of Dowagiac, Mich.

The Rev. Fred Pflugh will officiate at the services, and interment will be in St. Luke cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
