Died from breast cancer on September 5, 2015, and went to joyfully join Our Heavenly Father in Heaven.
Beverly was born the fifth of 6 children, to Walter N. and Margaret Mary Vettel (Mueller) at Hillsboro, ND on March 24, 1955. She attended Cummings Township Grade School through Sixth Grade, and graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1973. Bev received a Bachelor Degree in Elementary School from University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND in 1976. She married Christopher B. Dennis in 1977 in Des Moines, IA. Bev taught school at Holy Spirit School in Fargo, ND; Hillsboro Migrant School in Hillsboro, ND; and Canton Union School District in Canton, IL 1978-1988. Her sons, Matthew and Andrew, were born in Illinois, in 1985 and 1987. Being a mother was her greatest joy and brought her the most happiness. The family moved to Mason City, IA in 1989, and in 1990 to Omaha, NE. Bev returned to college at University of Nebraska-Omaha, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with major in Accounting in 1997. She worked at Mutual of Omaha for 2 years, and the next 16 years at ConAgra Foods, being promoted to Finance Manager.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Matthew and Kelly (Lukas) Dennis of Omaha, and Andrew and Madelynn (Perez) Dennis of Philadelphia, PA; grandchildren, George, Eleanor and Mary; siblings, Elizabeth and Francis Kritzberger of Hillsboro, ND, Bill and Ann Vettel of Flint, MI, Bob and Ginny Vettel of Warners-Robbins, GA, Barb and Terry West of Hettinger, ND, and Brad and Twila Vettel of Arvilla, ND; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; and many beloved friends.
SERVICES Tuesday at 10:30am at St. Wenceslaus Church. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery. VISITATION Monday starting at 5:30pm, with ROSARY at 6:30pm, and WAKE SERVICE at 7pm, all at the St. Wenceslaus Church.
