Helen A. Notorianni Allegretti, 88, of Erie, died Friday, June 30, 2006 at Pleasant Ridge Manor, East. She was born October 3, 1917 in Johnsonburg, Pa., a daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia Vilella Notoriani. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. She was the heart and soul of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaetono "Guy" Allegretti; three brothers, Joseph, Patrick and Carmen Notorianni; and five sisters, Eva DeCarolis, Catherine Ferraino, Margaret Capuano, Theresa Notorianni and Mary Ferragine. She is survived by a daughter, Gail VanAtta, of Erie; a sister, Linda Szlchetka, of Buffalo, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Garrett Skindell, Tiffany Yavicoli, Andria Stelmack, Alysa Stelmack and Paul Stelmack; and five great-grandchildren, Arianna Skindell, Nina Yavicoli, Angelina Yavicoli, Giovanna Paolello-Skindell and Lolacenza Paolello-Skindell. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
