I went to high school with Betsy (St. Maria Goretti High School, Class of 1970). She attended St. Edmond's grammar school, graduating in 1966.

I recently learned that she passed away at the age of 51.

Her obituary read as follows:

SHEPPARD, Elizabeth C. (nee Bankert), age 51, on October 26, 2003, beloved wife of Milton; dear daughter of George and Helen (nee McCue); dear mother of Joseph Camiolo; grandmother of Brielle and Marissa Camiolo; sister of Margaret Thompson, Mary Ellen Sullivan, Deborah Townson, William G. Bankert, Sr. and George Bankert; also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends invited to call Thursday, 9:30 am St. Edmond Church, 21st Street & Snyder Avenue. Funeral Mass, 10:00 am. Interment private. Family requests donations to Fox Chase Cancer Research, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111. RUFFENACH FUNERAL HOME
