Ada McCormick Barnes, age 94, of Concord, formerly of Fairmont, was born in Robeson County to the late Charlie McCormick and the late Rollie Willoughby McCormick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glyde Barnes; two sons, Charlie Ray Barnes and Kenneth Glyde Barnes, Sr.; a brother, Raymond McCormick and a sister, Ruby Jenkins. She leaves to cherish her memories with three grandchildren, a sister, Edna Andrews; three great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
