Lillian Ruth Augustine of Eugene died July 8 of heart failure at age 93. No service is planned.
She was born Sept. 15, 1912, in Parkwood, Pa., to Harry and Martha Lowery Carnahan. She married Herbert Augustine on Dec. 25, 1935, in Glendale, Calif.
She was a homemaker and had worked as a school cook.
Survivors include a son, Joe of Springfield; two daughters, Judie Bugay of Fox Island, Wash., and Loise Mallcom of Hobe Sound, Fla.; 14 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Her husband; a daughter, Geraldine Halderson; and a grandson, Todd Mallcom, died previously.
