Obituary for Alvin P. Gegenheimer Jr.
Alvin P. Gegenheimer, Jr., age 70, of Perkinston, passed away on September 7, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his wife parents, Alvin P. Gegenheimer and Ella Mae Gegenheimer.
Survivors include his son, Russell Preston Gegenheimer and his wife, Gretchen, a brother, Freddy Gegenheimer, 2 sisters, Rebecca Ribaul and Lynne Hucke, 3 grandchildren, Russell Jason Gegenheimer, Rebecca Kathleen Gegenheimer, and Alyssa Belle Gegenheimer, and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Gegenheimer was a retired mechanical engineer and he served in the U.S Navy during the Viet Nam War. He loved fishing and working on his tractor on the farm.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 11, 2015, from 9 – 11 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A funeral service will be at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the MHG Foundation, Attn: Dave Estorge, P.O. Box 1810, Gulfport, MS 39502.
