In Memery of Adcock, Woodrow

Woodrow Adcock, 71, a resident of 112 Ash Street, McMinnville, died June 22 at the Alvin C. York V.A. Medical Center in Murfreesboro following an extended Illness.
A nurseryman, Mr. Adcock was a native of DeKalb County and was a son of the late Thomas P. Adcock and Birdie Russell Adcock. He was a member of the Dibrell Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon.
Services were held at 2 p.m. June 24 at McMinnville Chapel of Love-Cantrell and Cope Funeral home. Eddie Glen Cantrell officiated. Burial was in the Mt. View Cemetery.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Coleen Adcock of McMinnville; two sons, Gary Adcock of McMinnville and Tommy Adcock of Nashville; two daughters, Sara Steven and Pamela Pack, both of McMinnville; a sister, Hallie Haley of McMinnville; two half-sisters, Barbara Jo Foster of McMinnville and Nannie Certain of Smithville; a brother, Gordon Adcock of McMinnville; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
