Isabelle Kathleen Acker, 81, Lunenburg, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2001, in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born at First South, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Ellen Mae (Acker) Acker. Isabelle had worked for many years as a registered C.N.A. in Ontario. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg and a member of the ELW of the church, the Women's Institute and the Bible Study Group of Zion. She is survived by sisters, Gladys and her husband James Mason, Mrs. Irene Fralick, Mrs. Emily Zinck, all of Lunenburg; Mrs. Florence Swinimer, Western Shore; Mrs. Marion Patton, Chester; June and her husband Maximan Frank Briand, Fauxburg; Shirley and her husband Lauren Wile, Lower LaHave; Mrs. Lottie Mitchell, Foxburg, Massachusetts; brothers, Harold amd his wife Diane, Grevel and his wife Louise, all of First South; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Grace and Olive; brothers, Lewis, James, Alan, Roy, Charles, and Theodore. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg, with visitation 2-3, 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg, Rev. James Slack Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John's Re-Building Fund or a charity of choice.
