Helena A. Stark was born November 28, 1909 in Kirbyville, Texas, former resident of Webster Groves, Missouri for 40 years, passed away in Tiburon, California on January 19, 2001.
She was the adored wife of the late Tim Stark (whose family were prominent Nebraskans for several generations), the beloved mother of Barbara Stark Hirni and Judith Stark Barnett, as well as their husbands, Robert Hirni and John Barnett, and the treasured grandmother of Judy Hirni, Elizabeth Hirni Marshak, Maria Hirni, Rebecca Barnett Olivarez and Michael Barnett.
Helena will always be remembered for her remarkable intelligence, her gift of musicianship, her indomitable and optimistic spirit and her unconditional love for her family. She will be forever missed by all whom knew and loved her.
Graveside Services for this wonderful woman will be held in Aurora, Nebraska on January 27, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. at the Aurora Cemetery.
