"The Sabbath Recorder", Vol 37, No 14, p 5, Apr. 7, 1881.

In Berlin, N. Y., March 25th, 1881, of consumption, Schuyler Greenman, in the 70th year of his age. The subject of this notice was born in Stephentown, N. Y., but with his parents removed to Berlin when but a child. He had long held a prominent place among business men of the community, as also in the public affairs of the town and county. In his death the people of Berlin are made to feel that one of the old landmarks has been removed. He leaves behind him five children, several grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a large circle of relatives. The interest which the community felt in the deceased was shown by the large number which attended his funeral, at which time a sermon was preached from Heb. 9: 27, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die; but after this the judgment."
