Beverly M. Raasch, 82, of Middleton, passed away September 6, 2015 of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday September 12, 2015 at Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. Graveside services will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Beverly was born August 13, 1933 in Altadena, California, to Frances and William Wiegand. She moved to Idaho as a young girl and graduated from Caldwell High School in 1951.

In 1954 she married Loyal Green and together they raised four girls in Meridian. There she also enjoyed her career working at the bank and that love was returned from her customers that would wait in line just for her, even though other tellers were available to help them.

Beverly loved life and people and didn’t know a stranger. When her girls were growing up her house was where all their friends wanted to be. She treated them all like her own and to this day several of them still call her “Mom”.

In 1980, one of her customers from the bank caught her eye and she married Carl Raasch in December of 1981. He was her perfect dance, travel, and fishing partner. Together they participated in old car tours wearing period clothing. They also attended engine shows and swap meets, having fun and making friends everywhere they went. Her biggest pride and joy was her family and she was quick to take out the pictures she carried with her to show them off every chance she got.

Bev and Carl built a home together in Middleton and she took great joy in her yard and flowers, especially her roses. She always looked forward to seeing the quail and rabbits that came to visit. The holidays, especially Christmas and the 4th of July, were her very favorite. It was a time that brought all of her family and friends together.

She is survived by her husband, Carl; Chihuahua, Mego; her four daughters: Laura Lee Berg (Will), Linda Hopkins (Don), Leslie Hartman (Mark) and Lorna Steiner (John); eight grandchildren: Danna Douglas (Tim), Brandon Berg, Corey Berg (Sheridan), Kim Tunison (Jake), Tenea Wilson (Terry), Faith Hartman, J.R. Steiner(Sammie), and Jake Steiner (Ashley); and seven great-grandchildren: Ashlee and Cody Decker, Kaylee and Abby Tunison, Dakota and Shyann Wilson and Macie Steiner.

Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not. Our lives will never be the same, we love you!
