101, of St. Petersburg, passed away peacefully Sept. 6, 2015, with her daughters present. Jean was born in Drifting River, Manitoba, Canada Feb. 23, 1914. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Feodor (Fred) Kozar; sons-in-law Orest Michaluk, Gregory Griggs; and 10 siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Michaluk of Calgary, Alberta and Jeanette Griggs of Tucson, AZ; grandson, Ryan (Shelley); great-grandchildren, Heather and Ross Michaluk of Calgary, Alberta; sister-in-law, Anne Chyz; and extended family. The family would like to express sincere thanks to the staff of Lexington Health and Rehab Center where she was a resident for the past 19 months. Trisagion Service will be held Friday, Sept. 11, 7 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 49th St. and 54th Ave. N. Funeral Service will be held at St. Michael's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 9201 60th St. N. Saturday, Sept. 12, 10 am. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
